The Icom IC-M424G is a white marine VHF transceiver with built-in Class D DSC and a built-in GPS receiver. Active noise cancelling cuts background noise in the received signal by up to 90%. It is rated IPX7 submersible, covering 1 m for 30 minutes, and has weather channels with an alert function. A built-in 10W amplifier drives an external PA speaker, and NMEA 0183 connectivity is included.
