Danforth's Standard S600 (part 94012), a 9 lb anchor with two large triangular flukes, which Danforth lists for 17 to 27 ft boats, with 600 lb of holding power as Danforth states it; its boat sizes assume normal wind, average currents and at least 5:1 scope. Danforth says its flukes orient toward the seabed at a 32 degree angle for maximum holding in common sea bottoms such as hard sand, and that each anchor is hot dip galvanized.
